FMS Version 2.0 Alpha 8.1
 

Has anyone downloaded this version and having problems with models or graphics? I just installed it and none of the models that worked in version 7 are working now. The graphics are a bit messed up too. The trees look like cards or something.

Anyone else with this problem?

If you look at fms homepage you will find that fms 7 models and scenery don't work in fms 8 because they have changed the file. But wait a couple of months and there will be more plane or try www.rc-sim.de or www.rcsim.de to download a few fms 8 planes.

Not true. I have many of the older ( but more recent models ) that work fine in ver8. The problem appears to be the par file format. I'm going to mess with the files & see if the older models can be restored to a working state.

Thanks for the links Jacs. Nice graphic but neither of them go anywhere. I guess I am just going to have to wait to get new models or reinstall version 7 again. [&o]

Try this then http://www.rc-sim.de/index1.htm (click on the lower plane and you get english) then click download and you will find a lot of information on many simulators.
