RF G2 Multi player connection

Has anyone had any problems connecting to the multi-player session on RF G2. For the past couple of days it has been stating the server can not be connected to or something like that.

"ERROR

No response from the server. The site may be temporaily unavailable. If this problem persists call technical support for this product."

once you click OK, it then says

"Could not find the list server. Check you internet connection and check that you use the FTP protocol (ask your system admistrator)."

Obviously my internet connection is working since I am posting here, plus I have a cable connection. I haven't changed anything on my computer since the last time I would multi play online using RF G2.

Just checking to see if anyone else is having this problem?

Thanks,
DTB

Yeah I have had the same problem.I still cannot connect as of Sunday night. I will try to e-mail then tomorrow. I guess their host server is down or something. I am glad I was not the only one having the same problem. I just loaded G2 on a new computer, so I was beginning to think it was some sort of problem with the new computer.

When I made this thread I was having the problem, but I was able to connect yesterday. I haven't tried today yet. May have been just a weekend thing.

I didnt know they had a server anyone could join. Is there a place where the public can just go and fly with each other?

Yes, you can join or host a flying session for multiplayers, but you have to have the Full G2 version and not the lite version. To join a private session with a buddy you will need your friends ISP address to join up with them and vice-versa, but to search for any session to fly in, go to the tool bar at the top, click multiplayer, click search, type a user name if it's your first time, click OK for your user name (just hit enter), then click search on th screen that pops up, select a flying session (double click session), click start search to connect to that session, once contact is established it will show you if there is room in the session (1/8), this means there is one person out of 8 flying in the session so there is room for you and 6 other people. Click join and wait for the computer to change to that flying field which ever is being used in that session, once the session loads and you see your plane and the field, hit enter and type "hello", "hi" or my favorite that I see all the time "SUP" and hit enter again to display the message, then start flying.

Just follow the screens and you can't mess up. I hate to fly alone as it is boring, but flying online is too much fun. I have met so many people. Most are great, but ofcourse, you will have those buttheads that think they own the world. Ignore them and have a great flying session.

Also, to end a session, click multiplayer on the tool bar and click disconnect. You may still see that same field, but you are not online and will be by yourself again.
