AFP Crashes?
Hey
Is there something wrong with the crashes on AFP? When I hover high I can let the plane drop straight down on the tail and it wont crash somehow, I did an inverted flatspin and touched the ground with the whole tail and it didnt crash. There are lots more examples of this.. Is it a known bug? Thanks |
RE: AFP Crashes?
Crashes is one of AFP's low points (along with ground handling in general). No it's not a bug . . . though if I was a developer I would probably call it that. Sometimes you will notice you touch the ground and you crash, other times you basically have to try to crash. One thing that maybe part of the issue is where you set the surface roughness under options, I have not tried this to see what it's effect might be. I am not particularly bothered by the crashing, because I know when it's a crash or not even if the plane doesn;t fly into bits.

RE: AFP Crashes?
No. Perhaps you have crashes turned off or invulnerability turned on. Your plane should smash into pieces after a high-speed crash. Can you get it to crash if you point it into the groundFrom a height?

RE: AFP Crashes?
If I want to crash it I can.. believe me lol. Its just that sometimes I touch the ground pretty hard while hovering and it just keeps flying like normal.
The ground handling is also very bad but I can live with that. |
