RE: FMS help required
I have FMS. I like it more than the Real Flight. Best of all it's FREE! You can even get add-ons for FMS at it's website. (Sorry I forgot the Web Address, haven't been there in so long) If you are using the keyboard as the controller, then you can forget about it being like the actual event. You need the an Interface cord to hook your trasmitter to your computer. You can get these off of ebay. Or you can buy a joy-stick from Circuit City, HH Gregg, or anywhere that sells computers. I have a joy-stick, it's the Saitek P880. It has 2 control knobs. It's about the closest thing you'll get to an actual transmitter. But either look for that, or anything that has 2 control sticks. Once you install it, open FMS and click controls at the top of the screen then click Analog Control. Select Joy-Stick Interface, and click Mapping/Calibration. Move the control sticks around and set up the rudder, ailerons, elevator and throtttle according to the channel # list. (You'll see) Then click calibrate, and Finish. You set up Heli-copters the same way, but the thing is you can only make it 4 channels. Tail, nick, roll and pitch
