Reflex!!

Hands down the best sim I have ever seen! Even without the XTR upgrade I still think the sim fly's much more realistic than G2 and looks great too!

Check out these two videos comparing the physics of AFP and XTR

http://63.246.139.60/reflex.wmv

http://63.246.139.60/ikarus.wmv

No flames intended, but AFP is a class above. Here are comments from the professional pilot who made the videos :

- AFP was the sweet honey right out of the box of the four SIMs. It flies like a light, stable, big plane right out the gate. And, I like it for IMAC too because it responds like an unloaded plane when you unload it (in the snaps). I think this is the SIM that is most likely to please the guy that only wants to buy one SIM. Let me say that if I was trying to learn 3D maneuvers... there is no doubt that I'd get AFP and would probably be none too keen on XTR.

- On to Reflex XTR...The planes are alot harder to fly out of the box They're kinda harder to fly at all times.

FWIW

Rajul, you are really giving me some hard time ... anyway - if somebody reads that post and tries to get an idea about both products, just don't forget who posted these links and what his intentions are. In my oppinion, these "videos" demonstrate the pilots "abilities" and frame grabbing "abilities". If you want to compare something please use a better source. Cheers - wolfgang

Why should I?

I dont see the problem here, one "pro" pilot has taken a liking to AFP over XTR. Why is ruffling feathers? Somone needs to stop acting childish in these fourms. If its sand in your va*%^a, clean it out and move on.

I hope you have a flame retardant suit of some sort rajul. :)

Oh well...I thing Reflex is an awesome sim and it blow AFP in the graphic department but AFP strong point is the physic (for the airplanes.) It just fly like the real thing. AFP also handle 3D
so well... Reflex physics for the heli however are above AFP from what I saw.

Both sim are great values. It just depend what you are looking for. Also the programmers can works on some glitch via future update.. So we will see.

You can't go wrong with these sims.

RE: Reflex!!

I should have stated in my first post that the only thing I fly on the Sim is Helicopter's so I can't comment on how the airplanes fly!

RE: Reflex!!

In some other forum, Rajul differs about the hardware requirements to put "his" AFP up in the sky and turn the Reflex down. Don't worry too much. The Reflex would not be on the market since 12 years now if it would be that bad.

wsn:
I have no idea what you have against Rajul or anyone else that plays AFP and not your sim. Its a free world and they have a choice and guess what? They didnt take your sim so stop whinning about it in every RC forum.

I dont know whats the confusion with the specs but I have an AMD t-bird 1 GHz and a 32MB Geforce 2 and I run AFP on almost max settings with about 60 FPS at all times. Dont tell me this is bad cause it will show you how little you know.

You really want more people buying your sim? Then advertise the damn thing. I havent even heard about it before you came to this board and whinned.. so much to those "12 years". AFP is advertised all over the place and thats why so many people use and like it over other sims, and also, some pros are flying it.

RE: Reflex!!

@PlagueWielder:

I'm not here to sell the sim. That's a forum and not a market place. Sales are done by other people and they advertise - don't worry. Just watch what happened here.

1. Raydee-RCU said something about the Reflex and G2 - just an oppinion.
2. That's the keyword for Rajul to move in and post some videos from unclear sources.

Well, what's the reason for Rajul to step in here? Nothing said about AFP so far.

3. As the intention of Rajuls post is obvious and the sources as well, I just made clear that for serious information about the Reflex, Rajul is just not the right partner.
4. If the same person starts publishing wrong informations about the Reflex, here or in other places, it's just an additional information for the occasional reader.

Just a similar example: "XMP is bancrupt". Spreading that information as a fake may even cause legal actions against the person making that statement so why should I just stand by and watch other people spreading 100% wrong informations?

Again: if you want SERIOUS informations, ask the people knowing what they are talking about. That's not "whinning", that's defence against very special marketing strategies.

Cheers - wolfgang

RE: Reflex!!

Again you accuse my happy customers of advertising and lies. All he did was post some videos and quote a professional pilot. This is an open forum.

Sorry Rajul you had to deal with this. I have informed the owner about this thread. Hopefully action will be taken this time.

RE: Reflex!!

Again, to make that very clear: The video shown here is bad. Well, both are but the Reflex video is REAL bad. It is not comming from any suitable source and the intention of this post is to show that AFP is good and Reflex is bad (that the message in short). There is nothing wrong with it - Rajul may post whatever he wants but as it is a free forum, I may comment a little. The comments are: If you want some hard facts, just ask another source. That's all.

If you make a search for Rajuls posts you will find out that he is a fan of AFP and I'm very happy with that. If somebody distributes fake informations, somebody else will be there to correct that information. If you don't want posts like this anymore, just make sure your customers stick to the rules (... and the truth). If you have problems with that very basic kind of common sense, the problem may not be mine but yours.

Cheers - wolfgang

RE: Reflex!!

Ok, I want seriouse information. Can you provide it? I want to see videos of Reflex XTR showing its AIRPLANE capabilities (3D, and overall). I want to see how the physics are. Can you provide that please?

I dont know why but there are only 2 videos of Reflex online that show airplanes, one is the one Rajul posted and another is on your site but doesnt show anything.

Please dont accuse Rajul or anyone else of advertising. You wouldnt be happy if someone posts videos of Reflex XTR and tells how wonderful it is and I accuse him of advertising. He is posting his opinion based on the videos which up to now, I hope, have been pure garbage from XTR.

Please, try to do what I asked in the first 2 lines of this post. Thanks
