AFP!!!!!!!!! THE BEST

Ok ..I bought this sim to help me with my stall and spins....it does it!
This sim did everything and every input I did to crash the CAP..... I now have a solution to escaping the 300.00 dirt nap!
This sim is GREAT!!!.I would recommend it to every beginner and to some experts!

777 did you order one? I saw a lot of order comes through over the weekend ... was wondering if you decided to drop the bomb.

Well, I have to agree with that......even though I haven't seen the sim.....I AM RETURNING MY REAL FLIGHT...and gettin that AeroPro......I saw some video on their website and I was amazed......they have by far....THE BEST SCENERY EVER.....

I have called Hobbico to see if I can return my current Real Flight, but I don't think that will happen. But if I don't, then I'm gonna sell it on here for some mula. Then, get that much cheaper $139.99 AeroPro.....I didn't realize how good it was until I saw the videos...

HAPPY SIMMING

Yeah, you caught me! I added a note at the bottom of my Pay-Pal order because I figured that you wouldn't know me by my real name. If you saw the order for some guy named Brad Turgeon, that was me!

I gotta tell you.......... your support not only to me, but everyone else here was a big factor, Dion. I'm looking forward to AFP as well as your helpfulness in the future.

Thanks a bunch,
Brad

Well way to go! You made a smart choice ... you will find that once you fly AFP it becomes more then just RCU rave, you will also see why some of the posts you read about the sim exist.

Well, I certainly believe that.......I hope that I made a smart choice. Don't get me wrong, RF G2 is a good simulator, but I do have to say that after going to AFP webstie, I "fell in love with it!!"

does AFP come with any USB or parrallel cables for the transmitter? if not where can i get them? i know of a web site but i think they are pricy....of course i dont know how much they cost normally

RE: AFP!!!!!!!!! THE BEST

The interface for AFP is by a serial plug/dongle that hooks to the computer's serial port. You specify what brand transmitter you have and they send the cable for it, that cable plugs into the serial cable in the computer and the other end goes to the trainer connection of your radio.

Your radio then controls the planes exactly like they would at the field, programming and all.

That's how it works, and what you get.

RE: AFP!!!!!!!!! THE BEST

so the cable come with the $139.99 AFP if I specify DIN5?

RE: AFP!!!!!!!!! THE BEST

I imagine you need to say more than a 5 pin din cord because there's no guarantee that every brand is the same. You need to say if you want it to be either Futaba compatible, JR, Multiplex, etc. They vary among the brands as to what pin connects to what, i.e. pin 1 on brand A may be pin 2 on brand B.

The website has the part numbers by brand I think. http://aeroflypro.com/purchase/ for details.

do you know if they have Airtronics cables?

STLPilot 06-18-2004 08:13 AM

RE: AFP!!!!!!!!! THE BEST

Yes AFP comes with Airtronics, Hitec, JR and Futaba.

RE: AFP!!!!!!!!! THE BEST

Yep......the best thing (well another great thing about it is) is that the AFP is only $139.99 and you don't have to worry about buying a interface and connecting THAT up to YOUR TX......I just like that you plug up your TX STRAIT to the computer with AFP......

(Well, just one more reason that I LOVE AFP......if I already haven't said that!!:))

RE: AFP!!!!!!!!! THE BEST

It's been confirmed that this also works with the new Evo radios. You still use the supplied Hitec adapter plug even though the amount of pins does not match.

Works fine.
