Which Add on CD should I get?
 

Hey guys,
I'm going to purchase the G2 system soon, like this afternoon. My question is which add on CD to get. Tower throws one in with the simulator. I want to practice 3D flying So I would like planes like the Extra, Giles ect.
Libary 3 seem like the ticket. What do you think?

Cool,
I had already pulled the trigger before I read this so it's on it's way. What about the first two CD's? Am I missing anything? Any added functionality (such as views or 3D (vidieo) effects) that I might want?

Not really missing anything with add on 1 & 2. I have them from the original Real Flight. Add-On 4 will be out in a month or so, get that instead. Later on if you want additional planes and fields, go for 1 & 2, although the latest "stuff" will be from 3 on.

Tower throws an Add on Cd in with G2? I didn't see anything about that on the web or in there catalog?

Just got G2 with the 3rd add on CD for free. Not only that but it let me add on the 20 dollar discount from tower for orders over 199.00. It did say it doesn't combine with any other offer, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask and I got it.

i tried but it only let me choose 1 so i decided i would wait to buy until i figured out how you guys got VOl 3 cause that is the one i want

SoLoBoy, in answer to your question: At present Tower will let you purchase G2 with any one of the 3 add on CD's. The order number for G2 with vol. 3 is LWF235. Currently they offer a $20 discount on G2 with one free add on CD and by mentioning their add special (sent via e-mail) they throw in a $20 merchandise coupon. Hard to beat. Hope this helps.
