G2 USB Interlink Controller & FMS or others?
Is it possible to run FMS with the G2 Interlink Controller?
If so, how do you hook it up? Also, with the G2 work with any other Flight Sims? Thanks, Bob |

yes if you let windows install it instead of realflight g2.... as a joystick

RE: G2 USB Interlink Controller & FMS or others?
Thanks, Dave.
I downloaded the Beta 7 file and ran it. I was able to go into Controls>Analog Control>Joystick and futz my way around in there till I got my Interlink controller to work OK. I'm going to try to take copies of the file over to my brothers place and see if I can get his RC Pilot controller to work the same way. Thanks a lot. Bob |

N1EDM,
Do you remember what you did? I haven't been able to get it to work. PLEASE!! Thanks, Kiiski |
RE: G2 USB Interlink Controller & FMS or others?
You'll have to Calibrate the joy stick before you can do anything else, then change the selections for the stick/channel.
Select Controls/Analog Control/Joystick Interface Click on Mapping/Calibration and follow the calibration routine by pressing Calibrate in the right-hand box After that, go to the left-hand box and change the Mapping. In my case, to fly Mode II, I had to use the following settings: Rudder = 4 Elevator = 2 Aileron = 1 Throttle = 3 Yours may be different, but you can figure it out by seeing which stick controls which channel on the right. Just remember to hit OK when you're done. You should be OK. By the way, if you read my previous msg (msg #2), you'll see that I didn NOT download the latest and greatest. That only had a few planes in it, and was sort of buggy. In fairness, it was advertised as a Beta version anyway. I haven't done anything beyond that. Did you download the Beta 7 file? That has about 10 different planes/copters to fly. Let me know how you make out. Bob |

N1EDM,
Thanks for the reply. When I try to calibrate, nothing happens, the blue bars don't move at all. Any ideas? Thanks, Kiiski |
RE: G2 USB Interlink Controller & FMS or others?
Hi Kiiski,
sorry, I don't have any clues.. Could it be that you might have two controllers hooked into the system? It might be looking at the other controller. I'm presuming that you're using the Interlink controller with the USB hookup. That's the setup that I'm using. I'm also assuming that the USB Interlink controller has been properly installed with the software that came with it, etc. What's your setup like? Bob |
