RC Plane Master Simulator- Has anyone used it?
Hi Flyers,
I am looking into a simulator called RC Plane Master which is suppose to be very realistic with real time physics etc. Has anyone used it? Usually all I see on the forum are articles on G2, Aeroflight Pro, and XRF. This program sells from $35-$60 depending on where you buy it and a usb interface for about $55. I think you also get all types of free downloads.. Just curious to see if anyone is familiar with it and how good it is compared to G2, Aeroflight Pro etc. Thanks for any input. Frank Scott |

I'll try the demo with my realflight controller when I get home... right now I'm trying to use the keyboard. I'lll get back to you on my opinion ;)

I used it and I remember downloading it and using it earlier, compared to the way my trainer flies and the way the demo trainer flew its almost right on. I would still go with the more used ones such as AFP and G2

RE: RC Plane Master Simulator- Has anyone used it?
I tried and liked RC Plane Master enough to buy it. It was my choice as I am not willing to spend a lot of money to fly on the computer. I'd rather crash a cheap plane a few times instead. So it seemed to be a very good simulator for the price ($39.99 US). With registration you can download 21 planes and 7 landscapes. There is also an expansion pack ($34.99) with 12 more planes and 2 more landscapes. I do not have the expansion pack yet. They also sell a Parallel Port Interface Cable ($29.99).
The flight characteristics seem to be very good, although I am just returning to R/C and haven't started flying for real again (hence, the reason I did buy a simulator). Although you can edit the physics of each plane I would also like to be able to create my own. Don't know if this is something that will be available someday or not. I haven't asked yet. I am pleased with my purchase, though. Here is the RC Plane Master website: http://www.realitycraft.com/ Bob |

Frank,
You can get RC Plane Master + USB interface bundle here: [link=http://www.milehighwings.com/usb_sim_combo.htm]MileHighWings.com[/link] It's cheaper than anywhere else and MHW interface kicks A$S! ;) |
