G3- Question about split screen
 

Does the split screen feature allow two people to each fly a different plane on the same computer?

If so, can I use my G2 controller to fly one of the planes?

Yes, split-screen allows two people to fly the sim at once on the same computer. You can use your G2 controller or your own transmitter to fly the other plane.

That, incidentally, is the tie breaker for me. I will pass on Aerofly Deluxe and go for G3!!!

i realize your the professional, but when i had both g2 and g3 on my computer, the g2 controller wasn't working for g3,,, ( i only tried once) am i crazy or was it not plugged in .. lol..

G3 will only work if it can detect that a G3 controller is plugged in. If you just have a G2 controller plugged in and try to start G3, it won't load.

If you start G3 with a G3 controller AND a G2 controller plugged in at the same time, then it will load and your G3 controller will have control of the aircraft. You can then use the "Controller" menu to choose which controller should control the aircraft.
