Reflex Demo Question
I downloaded the Reflex XTR Demo, but I cannot seem to get a controler to work with it. I have tried a dave brown "joystick" an AFPD usb transmitter link and a microsoft USB joystick.
Anyone get it to work? Thanks Rob |
RE: Reflex Demo Question
I don't think it's possible. That's the limitation of the demo. You need a genuine Reflex interface to use the sim with a transmitter.

RE: Reflex Demo Question
Then how do you fly in it? with the keyboard? if so, I cant find any info on which keys to use.

RE: Reflex Demo Question
i used my simblaster cable when I tried the demo, it worked fine.

RE: Reflex Demo Question
If the Simblaster works shouldn't the AFPD work? How did you set it up with the simblaster?
Thanks Again Rob |
RE: Reflex Demo Question
I just plugged it in, and it detected the movements from my radio
also sim blaster: www.simblaster.com I think the afpd won't work because it has that encryption stuff in it as well... |

That's a load of crap! XTR uses its interface as a copy protection device, it can NOT be controlled by any 3rd-party interface or joystick. Don't waste your money buying any interfaces if you intent to use them with Reflex, better buy the simulator itself--you won't regret it. I bought XTR about a month ago and I find its flight model, especially while hovering, to be the most realistic of all the sims I've tried (and I tried them all except for G3). |
RE: Reflex Demo Question
