Learning aerobatics on a simulator

I'd like to learn basic aerobatics and I'd like to understand which sim would be the best choice. I have the original Realflight without the aerobatic trainer function. Is it recommended to use the latest generation that comes with the trainer function? How sucessful have you guys been using this new version for aerobatic training?
Thanks

In my opinion, any sim that lets you use your transmitter or a transmitter type interface will help you learn. There is a difference between the sim and the flying field, but there is value in using the simulator.

I've tried several, since my initial use of the Dave Brown FS2000 sim and the old Ikarus product. I would not have learned anything extra, using a different method. Opinions may vary.

Good luck,
Dave Olson
