G3 vs AFP
 

I just received G3 for Xmas but I was intending to get AFP or AFPD. I noticed that AFPD will not run on my laptop but AFP and G3 should be fine. I'm considering returning G3 and getting AFP. What is better G3 or AFP (not Deluxe). This form has a lot of complaints about G3 but most have to do with it not running on certain computers. I'm trying to focus on which SIM I will be the most impressed with assuming both are running optimally.

Do yourself a big favor and DONT OPEN the G3... return it or sell it unused. It is riddled with bugs, does not run on all computers and the physics are terrible. It will likely all be fixed eventually, but do you want to be a Beta Tester for KE software???

AFPD on the other hand works very well and is very realistic. I think AFPD is the best value and the most realistic sim out there to date. Reflex is very good too, but the support from OHMP (AFPD) is world class...

If you want a bargain, pick up the original AFP... it still is very good - much better than G2 or G3. and is really cheap (like $109 shipped)..
