RealFlight G3, extra controller?

I'm about to purchase a RealFlight G3, and I am wondering if the "Great Planes RF USB InterLink Control Upgrade G2 Mode 2" will work with this program, and if it is essentially the same as the one that is included with the G3. Anybody have the answer to this?

It will not work by itself but wiil work as a secondary multiplay controller. It is identical to the older one except for the new red button which has the same functio as the space bar (reset)
