Nvidia 71.84 drivers released!
 

Well Nvidia finally released some newer drivers, last release was November of 2004. I got a significant performance boost on G3 and image quality is noticeably better also. I am now getting 70-100fps on the ground and 150+ in the air! All settings are maxxed except shadows are on medium. AA is set to 4x and AF is set to 8, image quality slider is set to "very high".

Put mine on last night! Works nicely! I'm running shadows max, 8X AA and 16 AF. Quality max. Can see highly detailed reflections in the monokote as I hover or torque-roll close-in.

Incredible.

nVidia continues its march toward graphics market domination! ;-}

Yes these are nice drivers, but there seems to be a problem with them. there's a bug that shows an increase in temperature in 6800 series cards. It shows about a 10 degree temp increase. on your gpu. I've installed these drivers and sure enough it shows an increase of about 10 degrees. Some people are saying it's an actual increase while others are saying it the drivers showing the wrong temp. My video ran 48C idle to 58-62C smokin' exactly as it did before the driver updates. Don't know if there are specific issues with other cards, but I'm using the 6800 PCI-e Ultras.
