Another great one by Patrick Libby. This one has been requested many times and here it is!

If you have this model and would like to tweak it for the download please send email to [email protected].

It's ready for dload at http://www.aeroflypro.com/download <--- 3D Downloads

Thanks Pat ... awesome flyer!

ok, had a bit of flying on it now, and all i can say, nothing like the real one! why?? 1. you tap the ground and it doesnt expolde into lots of tiney bits and 2. it doesnt flex like hell!!

top model, its a goodun! fly pretty much exact like the real one:D

Ian if you have one of these just set it up like yours and send it over and I'll post it. Neither I nor Patrick have one, but he used his intuition.

Thank You Patrick. I like it a lot.
I don't understand Ian's comment "it doesn't flex like hell!!" Does that mean the real one does?
You got to get this thing inside to really appreciate it.

Did you have a tinckle or a tinker? HA

Must of had a tinckle because looks like you've been drinking a lot of coffee to make that video!

Good stuff Ian!

how do you make a plane PPS?

i want to make the paper plane im makin PPS, but not sure how it will handle it

I just uploaded a new version that has whiter whites and darker blues ... looks a little better.

My VPP isnt really VPP. to do it, just set all movements to 60 degrees, all propwashes to 100 and get the smallest prop you can go.

It's a Reflex scenery that I ordered at the 3D Masters and when I recived it I converted it for use in AFPD and I don't know when the download will come out[:o], Sorry[:o].

Dion, I will send you my 5D Tensor in about an hour I'm just tweaking it a bit more!:D;)

Here's another vid!:D:

ive got it flying "nice". Any way i can creat more than 2.00 KE lift? need it about.......5....:D

Dion, check your email;)

RE: E-Flite Tensor for AFPD

I flew your's Ian ... I don't have one ... so I don't know which is better. I'll take your word for it.

But one thing I can point out ... on some of these plane you have to make weight shift laterally to get them to fall out of hover. With the Tensor it will lock into hover with just elevator. But if you put a little bit of weight on one of the wings more then the other ... it will fall out naturally.

I think you can adjust the "mass" of the wings very finely in the TMD file;).

RE: E-Flite Tensor for AFPD

The tensor is super stable in the hover, its a dab of elevator here, a dab of rudder there, its really effortless. As i said, it just needs much more KE lift and it would be nye-on perfect...for AFP, non D that is...

STLPilot 08-12-2005 12:25 PM

RE: E-Flite Tensor for AFPD

Well you can add side lift to the parameters ... did you know that?

You can adjust it to whatever you want in the TMD file:D;)!

i know you can adjust it, but i dont know the code in the TMD. What is it??

Thanks

Ian.W 08-12-2005 02:22 PM

RE: E-Flite Tensor for AFPD

ive had a try with lots of differet setting and ive found that there is a side effect of increasing KE lift that the rudder becomes less and less efective untill the point where at 100 on the lift the rudder, even at 60 degrees and 100 propwash its totally useless. ive found 5 KE lift and 60 degrees rudder + 100 propwash is a good balance
