G3 Remote not working
 

I have installed the program Realflight G3 and the program downloaded fine. When i plug the remote into my USB port nothing happens. No lights flash on the remote, nothing. I am getting really angry knowing i spent all this money on a program i cant use. I have been at it for hours now with no luck. When i click run realfligt a message pops up saying No authorization interlink found. make sure your interlink is plugged in and try again. Can someone please help me..

I need drivers for the remote. Where do i found the drivers needed to make the remote work..

It looks like the controller uses a windows HID driver ... this [link=http://12.156.2.54/forums/showthread.php?p=39738]thread[/link] on the KE forum suggests you take look at your motherboard manufacturer site to see if there is any updates ... worth a try??


BTW I just checked my controller and it appears as a number of entries under the Human Interfaces Devices in the device manager

All i know about the motherboard is it came with my dell computer thats it. I have tried about everything with no luck. I am about to throw it out,..

If you needed any additional drivers I think it would have prompted you for them during install. It tells you to have your windows disk just incase. So any drivers you would need should be on your windows disk. Do you have any other USB devices that you can try in that USB port? I just installed it on a Windows XP platform and needed no additional drivers.

try different USB ports...dell uses cheap motherboards and not all of the usb ports (if any) provide the Voltage that they should...there is a fix however...you can get a POWERED usb hub for around 10 bux online, or 20 in a store...thats probably the problem...though dell has gotten better, this is something that they still do (mine at work, the front usb port is powered, the 3 on the back are not..)
