G2 View question
 

Maybe I am an idiot, but how do you view the G2 sim where the ground stays in view the whole time as a reference, I notice their add says you can do it, but the manual is vague, I appreciate it, ps, am not running the lite version

If you bring down the view menu and click onto the MAIN VIEW as active view you can just click both "Look at plane" and "look at ground". You may want to open a vieweport that just looks like a closeup of the plane, as it gets pretty small -pretty quick. You can make the main view auto-zoom, but that just makes it harder for me to get any depth perception as to how far out the plane is. With the viewport confirming orientation, I find this a good set-up for landing practice. I used to try to memorize scenery to find the runway until someone spilled the beans to me!

You can use ALT+ V and then G - that let's you always see teh ground. However, if you change planes, you have to do it again.
