Which simulator is the best?
 

>> Hello.... ive been on the market for a simulator for quite some time now. I;m told real flight G3 is the best but its so expensive. is it worth the money and is it a good simulator in terms of realism? Or what are som other good sims out there?

Hey here is a discussion that we haven't had for a few hours:D

Might want to do a search as this has been talked about 1 or 500 times.....

but G3 or AFPD are the tops right now, either would be fine..
Personnaly I use AFPD and think it is better and more flexible......more plans available, more sceneries..all free from the Internet, etc. etc.

G3 flies reallistically and will make you a better pilot because it will teach you what might happen and how to correct it. AFPD is too easy, but helps you learn a maneuver.

This is like the old Ford or Chevy question.Me I like Dodge because they put a Cummins under the hood.AFPD for me plus the free downloads are great!!!

of course if you want the Best sim out there you might want to look at Reflex, all these AFPD boys have probably not flown it. I own AFPD and Reflex, haven't used AFPD a tenth of the time I have Reflex.

heheh here we go again
I would suggest you find a local hobby shop that sells these sims, try them out in the shop, get a 1st hand experience, then decide what to buy.
