AFP CONTROLLER
 
IM LOOKING TO PURCHASE THE AFP AND HAD A COUPLE QUESTIONS. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. FIRST WILL A USB CONTROLLER LIKE THE ONE FOR G2 WORK WITH AFP? ALSO HAS ANYONE HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH USING A FUTABA 9C OR 7C RADIO. IVE HEARD RUMORS THAT THE TX BURNS OUT.

Hi Mike,

Yes, but you still need either the AFP interface or Game Commander too. One of those two devices has to be hooked up because the copy protection is contained in their interfaces....but assuming you have of them hooked up, you can plug in a G2 controller as a second controller, and make it your primary controller if you like, and it'll work fine.

I have an interface version and use a 9C with it. It works perfectly. I'm not sure what you mean by having the TX burn out. I've never heard of that and I have no idea why it would. You should keep the antenna extended a few inches when using it, like whenever you have it turned on, but other than that it should work fine.
