Establish or verify an INTERNET connection (preferably broadband), launch G3, select ->.Multiplayer->Host. Give your session a name, pick max number of users and click OK. It is that simple really, unless you have a firewall or port blocking issues. even in this case, let us or KnifeEgde know what you have going on and we can sort it out. No need to change port address or anything else on the Host screen.

Have you 'Joined' any multi-player sessions? If you want, PM me some time and I will set up a session to test connectivity with you. We can then also verify your ability to host also. You don't list a geographic region, but I am on the east coast and normally available after 1800hrs. (6:00pm) EST/EDT.

Yes. I've been flying multiplayer, but I have had trouble with my firewall. I'm on highspeed(sometimes download a vid at 90KBPS) so speed shouldn't be a problem. I'm wondering what's involved as I've been terminated too many times.(I have all updates) I'm in the Shenandoah valley Virginia. I'll check this out soon.

I set up IP passthrough or static NAT in my router to get it to work. Some routers have a port forwarding feature too that will work. I like using a cisco 2600 series router to set up public services like g3 multiplayer. I just wish g3 came with a Unix/Linux server.

Can anyone tell me what happens if I'm hosting and others are flying and I have my internet go out? What happens to the others?
