Looking for a sim

Hi All,

I'm on the road a lot and as a result can't practice with the real thing, so am looking at getting a sim.

Heres the specs on my Laptop, so what would give best overall performance

Now I'm pretty bad with PC's so the below means nothing to me.

Intel 1.5GHz, 400MHz FSB, 1MB L2 cache processor
60GB Harddrive
512MB RAM
DVD/CD-RW Combo
3 USB 2 ports

Taken from the website:
SiSM661MX integrated 3D graphics
Up to 64MB shared video RAM

I like the look of G3, but if it won't work bugger it

RE: Looking for a sim

Well, your video card is not on the compatibility list on G3's website. That is probably the killer. Looking at everything else though, it should run fine. One question though, is your processor a Pentium 4 or a Celeron? If it is a 4 it will work but if it is not, the Celeron may not be enough to power it. Your best bet is to go get the demo from G3's website. Here is link.

Install it onto the laptop and see what happens. If it doesn't, look into upgrading the video card.

I keep getting a "Error Loading Prop Disk" then it shuts down, this is on the demo.

So I don't know if it will work on the laptop!

If that is the case, it might not. You may want to go to the G3 forums and ask around there in the Technical help section, they might be able to help you there.
