The good ones all come from UK-based sites so if you're going to be picky that's tough.

FMS cable/USB port

Dan,

Is buying from the UK such a problem? If you go to RC-electronics you can get their USB-FMS interface for $44.95 - when you pay by Paypal the payment is actually taken from your card in US dollars so the only concern is shipping from the UK but as it's such a small/light item I wouldn't have thought this would be an issue either.

Use this guy

I just bought a USB hookup for XP from this guy,Tom on Ebay. Email him and he will sell it to you for $45 shipped. It works great and comes with a hard copy of the program and extensive online instructions. Have fun

FMS SIMULATOR

DOES THIS SIM GIVE YOU A GOOD UNDERSTANDING ON HOW TO FLY A HELI.. DOESNT HAVE TO BE FANCY BUT ARE THE CONTROLS JUST THE SAME WHEN YOU USE AN INTERFACE WITH YOUR RADIO.. I JUST NEED TO GET THE HANG OF HELIS I DONT NEED ANYTHING FANCY

mups53 11-24-2002 01:58 AM

Yes

Brad the program allows you to assign channels to do Heli controls. I'll bet there is a couple of hundred choppers to fly. Its real life like and challenging, but alot of fun. Mike

SIM

DID YOU MEAN NOT HARD TO DO? I HOPE HAHA

mups53 11-24-2002 02:08 AM

Opps

Its easy to do. But enough of a challenge to be fun. If you get one pay attention to which system is compatable with your systems.

P-40

I bought the software and the cable both from this guy. My software came with a P-40 on it already. As far as the cable goes you need the correct one that connects. I needed a USB JR for XP. Make sure you get the right one with the windows version you have and you have a computer thats got enough capacity or it won't work. He has a great website that helps you get set up and going. Good luck.
