RealFlight interlink
I am trying to Figure out how to use my own transmitter on my G3. I hooked it up like the manual says, but still, no signal from my radio. Am I just an idiot?
I was also wondering If anybody has modified the big yak 54 so it will 3D better? Maybe I'm just a crappy 3D pilot, but it seems like the stock setup is a little off-key. For example: in a low harrier, trying to turn around and come back, if you dont throw in FULL opposite aileron, the wing drops really bad into a spin. Once again, thats in a stock setup...Anyone have any ideas? The Yak just feels really heavy and maybe the CG too far forward perhaps? Thanks! |
RE: RealFlight interlink
What transmitter are you using?

RE: RealFlight interlink
I tried My Futaba 7CAP with the square plug, and my futaba T6XA with the old round plug. neither of them worked

RE: RealFlight interlink
You've probably done this but...
When you go to Sel Controller, it should show up there. Select it, then go through the calibration process. It should work. |
RE: RealFlight interlink
Also make sure the xmtr is in PPM mode and turned on.

do I need to take the crystal out? someone told me that it could be damaged?
|
RE: RealFlight interlink
Yes, take the crystal out so that the radio is not transmitting. This will greatly reduce the battery consumption and prevent problems from transmitting with the antenna collapsed.
