New FMS model
 

I'll be putting the final touches on this model over the next day or so. It's a famous one, and I'll have a zip containing all the files for anyone who wants it.

The files are good enough to share. It uses a version 7 .par that I borrowed until I can get good enough at converting and tweaking one to version 8.

Just PM for the zip. It's 292kb, FYI.

Yes it is. I've cleaned up the model a bit, so it should fly smoother with low-end video cards.

Hey guys. I have rfecently downloaded the FMS Alpha 8.5, and I was wdoenring how do I put the planes into FMS and dly them? I have downloaded some planes, but I just cannot get them into the FMS and acually fly them...[:o] Any help would be appreciated. Thank you@

Lilpilot,
Just click extract on the zip file...then brows, the path is computer/hardrive or C drive/programe files/FMS/model

you might wanna make sub-folders in the modle table, becuase there's almost a thousand modles of all kinds.
This way you can kind of orginize it a bit.

you can extract a bonch of files into a folder on your desk top, then zip it, then extract it.
Or you can just drag and drop all the files into a new folder. This way you don't have to do the extracting for days.lol

There's links everywhere, just google.lol
This perticular V2 i got from rc-sim
but if you load it from the heli section, it won't have the .bmp file or you'll just
get it with no skins.

I got it on the 2.8 plane section page #10 it comes hot and super hot.lol
the .30 perimeters is set up for hovering and 3D capiable...plenty for me.
That's what I'm using FMS for , to learn how to hover and watch the tail
The .90 perimeter is super hot.

I click off the fix camera mode. this gives it more of a real feel.
The model can float all over the screen and not stay in a fix posistion in the center
of the screen.
