controler for Reflex
 

I just bought an analog controler from walmart and tried to use it with Reflex but I can't get it to work. It works with FMS.
Is there anything I have to set up to use this controler?

Reflex uses a USB Dongle which connects directly to your RC Transmitter, The USB Dongle and cable comes with the purchase of the program...it WILL NOT work with standard controllers.

What interface cable are you using, do you have the one that come with Reflex? You have to have the interface that comes with Reflex or it will not work, the interface is their copy right protection.

A friend gave me this game a couple of weeks ago, all he gave me was the CD. I can't get it to work now. I asked him about the "dongle" and he said he lost it and I would have to buy a new one.
Is this what I need

I have the correct cable that runs from my tx but that alone will not work.

You can't buy the interface, they won't sell you one. They will exchange a broken or damaged one, but they won't sell you one. The only way to get one if you don't have one is to buy the simulator. Your out of luck.

They might sell you one, but they will charge you the full price of the simulator.

HI all
When you buy XTR, you get an interface device, an adapter cable for you particular radio (JR- FUT etc.) and a disk with software. Simply put the cable and the software are FREE the Interface costs a couple hundred bucks plus.

The Reflex folks should really make the interface device a lot bigger cause the little ones seem to be so easy to loose……bert

can you explain what an interface cable is?
I read somewhere that it is possible to make one, would this be possible?

The link you posted earlier that blue device in the top right corner is what you need. It is a USB cable interface.

Yes it is possible to buy one. It is called Reflex XTR and there are alot of places that sell it. It will cost you a couple of hundred bucks but they will send you the software and cable for free. Everything else you are talking about is ILLEGAL! The "dongle" is the copy protection device and since The Reflex folks and people who actually do care about copy protection visit this and other forums I would stop trying to hint if someone knows how to get an illegal one and just accept it. Buy one.

If I build it and don't resell it I doubt there would be any trouble with that.

You can't make the interface, if you could, everyone would be doing it and Reflex would never sell the simulator. I'm sure you can't buy the chip or what ever they use at Radio Shack, you would have to get it from Reflex and I'm sure they aren't going to sell you one.
