G2 USb Controller and Aerofly Pro Delux?
Hi
Newbie 1st Post:D Has anyone succeeded in using the USB controller from Realflight G2 in Aerofly Pro Delux? Thanks dd EDIT: Sorry, realise not its on the wrong forum, but that it can be done. Does it matter which version of AFPD is used. |
RE: G2 USb Controller and Aerofly Pro Delux?
Did it with success
Leave the usb plug from AFP plugged into a USB port and plug the G2or3 controller into a different USB. Then callibrate and be sure you select joystick #1 in the menu so that it knows that is what you want. I have not been able to get the switches to work but the sticks and trim are fine. |
RE: G2 USb Controller and Aerofly Pro Delux?
i think he means without the AFD TX plugged in at all...

Thanks for your reply. I actually bit the bullet and bought AFPD with the USB controller.
It's the muts nuts. And it will control G2 etc. Dan |

If you have a "copy" but not the USB dongle or the AFPD tX, it ain't a legal copy[X(] Ya gotta pay to play;)

RE: G2 USb Controller and Aerofly Pro Delux?
Sorry if I came across in an accusational manner, but there are a lot of people out there looking for "cracks" to avoid paying for the software.
Unfortunately if one actually loses the hardware, dongle or Tx interface, sadly they are SOL:(, if it's damaged or inoperable contact Ikarus, they have policies regarding replacement of cables that are inoperative or got chewed by the pet Tarantula[X(], but y'gotta have the "remains";) I believe there was a thread some months back where folks in Euroland were being prosecuted and fined for buying illegal interface cables on the internet, sounds a bit draconian to me, but the market for r/c flight sims is nowhere near the size of any other game or simulator, so the software folks have to protect their investment.
