RF Delux Xmtr Intface/RF G2 Software CD?
 

I own a Real Flight Deluxe with a serial printer port Xmtr interface that allows me to use my own Futaba transmitter. I also have add-ons 1,2&3.

I've found a Real Flight G2 software CD for sale. The owner says his computer will not support the G2 sim and he intends to keep his USB interface to operate another sim that his computer will support.

Will my Real Flight Deluxe hardware (Xmtr interface) and the add-ons work properly with the G2 software CD?? The seller says the original CD crystal case and all documentation, registration and warranty data is included.

Yes, your serial interface transmitter and add-ons will all work fine with G2. I upgraded myself with similar equipment and everything has worked fine. :D

You must have something other than the RF Deluxe Serial Port Printer Transmitter Interface or the RF G2 USB Software CD...or you've figured out something the manufacturer doesn't acknowledge.

Both the Seller of the Real Flight G2 USB Software CD and Great Planes, the manufacturer?/distributer of the Real Flight Simulators
say that the RF Deluxe Transmitter interface defiantly will not work with RF G2 USB. The Software looks for a USB control device
and actually will not start to run unless it finds the USB control device included with the software.

The Real Flight Add-ons will work with either the Deluxe (or Standard? or Custom?) and the G2.

If there is a USB only version of the software I was unaware of it. Your initial post didn't state you were using a "USB" version so I will caveat my response. My version of G2 is not a USB version but I am never-the-less using a serial controller. Sorry if I have misled you...
