Multiplayer Question
I'm running Windows Me on a 700mhz with Nvidia Geforce 2 32Mb card. I finally got the mulitplayer to work. My plane runs smooth as always, but the other players planes jump from paused to unpaused a lot. I know it will say paused when you a in the menu, but this happens when they are acutally flying. It's real jerky with other planes but smooth with mine. Is that a Graphics card problem or something else? Thanks

Multiplayer Question
You are not the only one. Most of the time I find the other planes to be flying rather jerky, while mine is flying smoothly. I am not quite sure what is causing it. Maybe it is the network that is slow, but that is just a guess.
I just upgraded from a 600 MHz Athlon with Geforce 2 to a 2.5 GHz Pentium IV with Geforce 4, but have not noticed any differences in multiplayer so I don't think it is due the graphics card or performance of the computer. Krister |
Multiplayer Question
The jerky behavious is caused by lag, which means its taking a long time for your pc to talk to theirs so it will skip around as information is lost and received. You can see how well people are connected by going to Multiplayer>Player Summery it will list the numbers in there the lower the better.

I have the same problem.....Me and my friend play and he sees me all the time when he hosts or when i host...my plane always updates to him but his plane always ends up being paused and then freezes....anyone have any idea why? I would think since he is getting updates and I am not to his plane...it is my problem...i am on dsl and he is on cable modem...just seems weird how he gets constant updates on my plane but his to me ends up pausing alot and freezing....wish this could be fixed.
