G3 Photofield question
I have made a panoramic image of our field from 15 images I have overlapped and stitched.
The image looks great in the photo editing software but when I import it into G3 the resolution looks all wrong as the objects in the image are all too close and distorted. I have tried varying my focal length, horizon and image size along with a few other parameter and the results are almost always the same. Anyone else know how to correct this? Thanks. |
RE: G3 Photofield question
Basically G3 is expecting an equirectangular image (360 x 180 degree field of view) and ideally 8192 pixels by 4096 pixels.
Here is a guide to G3 panoramic images ... http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_33...tm.htm#3381125 more links in the Photofields (how to create them) bit ... http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11067 |
RE: G3 Photofield question
Thanks nemo,
I have been to those links and have yet to find an explaination for ho to achieve the 360 x 180 numbers. Is that a setup in the camera or in the editing software? |
RE: G3 Photofield question
You don’t necessarily need all of the hardware & software mentioned but this gives you a general idea of the work flow …
