G2 problems

I had that exact problem except that it never let me in from the get go. I need to first know what version of Windows you have. Myself I had Windows 98 1st edition. Yes there has been a second edition put out and that was my problem. Realflight is supposed to have a patch built into it that will allow it to run on 1st edition but that patch does not work. I read a few messages here and decided to upgrade to 2nd edition. Luckily my Dad manages a computer store so I had no cost. At any rate that fixed my problem. If you are running Windows 98 you have to have second edition for it to work.

System fails to bootup?

This seemed like a good link to ask this question. Having just recently purchase Real Flight G2 and installing it on my computer which is running XP Home Edition. I have run into a problem with the system not booting up completely at the last stage of the boot process with the controller attached to the USB port. If I unplug the controller from the USB port the system will bootup completely.

Has anyone had this problem or has this problem been discussed somewhere else on this website?

Thanks,

Bob
