Bmi phoenix
Can anyone tell me if any usb cable will work with the Phoenix sim?
Cause I'm going to buy a standard USB cable for my Futaba fc16 which should work with FMS etc. But will it also work on other simulators? |
RE: Bmi phoenix
no you have to use the phoenix dongle and a transmitter

RE: Bmi phoenix
Hi, I'd like to use this thread to discuss the Pheonix sim? I would like to start by asking if the electric YAK on the sim is a profile plane and does anyone know where I could down load some good profile planes for either the Pheonix or the Aerofly sim?

ORIGINAL: paulsen Hi, I'd like to use this thread to discuss the Pheonix sim? I would like to start by asking if the electric YAK on the sim is a profile plane and does anyone know where I could down load some good profile planes for either the Pheonix or the Aerofly sim? You can actually start threads just as easily, and they would then have a subject or title that would attract people who're directly interested in your topic. But that's just a suggestion. RCU doesn't charge extra for doing it this way. Hope you get answers, nonetheless. |
RE: Bmi phoenix
the yak that is currently in phoenix is a yak 55 as sold by bmi. very similar to one hobby lobby sell. its a shocky. type depron profile.
there is also a big yak in testing at the moment which is the aeroworks 28% petrol powered thing... not quite an electric profile tho! If you have a model you want in the sim take a look at the tech section of the website it will give you the details you need to take good photos of the model that phoenix can then use to model it. www.phoenix-sim.com Ade |

Thank's I kind of thought it was a "flat shocky" type model just was not sure, thats awesome news for me! I have been jumping in to thread's like this that may otherwise probably just pass by for some reason I don't know why, your right I would be better of starting a new 1 because people who have already looked at the thread may think it has nothing they want to see in it, guess I will go start a fresh 1. Good looking out da rock.

RE: Bmi phoenix
Went and got me the Phoenix sim yesterday. Had some problems with my graphics first but this was al solved by updating my drivers. Looks realy great and is in my opinion very realistic. Very easy to use and lot's of extra's for flying and training.
I would recommend it to everyone from novice to expert. You won't find anything better for this price. The USB cable is of great quality since I've seen some USB interfaces from other manufacturers. You are reading the post from one HAPPY boy!!! |
