G3.5 or Phoenix?
Clash of the Titans. I like the Phoenix, and everything about it, and it seems to be cheaper. However, I like the G3.5 night flying feature. I like that the Phoenix is when you roll through grass, it actually rolls over your wheels. What do you guys think?
|
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
Phoenix also has night flying,it has from the start.
Jim. |
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
So is Phoenix the way to go?
|
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
Surely a simulator is all about physics and G3.5 has the best physics engine of them all.
|
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
G3.5 has the best physics engine of them all. I think Phoenix has the best physics:D Jim. |
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
Shilling again. Tell him you are not impartial and are assosiated with phienix.
Stinger, take everythiung he says with grain of salt. He is paid phoenix shill. |
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
ohhh peeeelllleeeze
not only do you hound people on one forum but then you take it to other forums too. im sick of it. get a life. whats the matter get banned from rcgroups? Ade |
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
You are shilling around, not me. I will expose you for what you are. Tell the people who ask for advice you are assosiated with the company and not impartial "happy users". If you give feedback as "happy user" you are shilling. It is that simple.

RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
Just so everyone is clear Skirtz owns Clearview sim and takes every chance to jump on phoenix and its loyal band of followers, calling them paid shills and pushers, which is just laughable
He is trying to cause damage to phoenix and peoples personal reputation. Please ignore any comments by Skirtz as its all excessive advertising for clearview in disguise. This is what happened to one of skirtz post's yesterday on rcg Yesterday, 12:38 AM skirtz A warning has been issued for this post. Warning type: Trolling (Obnoxious behavior) Jim Lacey |
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
i think you will find that both myself and tetley make it clear on a regular basis we helped with the fixed wing and heli physics. Neither of us make anything from the sales of phoenix so we really have nothing to gain.
you on the other hand have everything to loose as phoenix is cheap enough to really cut into the sales of your "sim" Ade |
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
Both of you are looking for more people to deceive with fake posts like "happy users" slamming other products and lying about perceived benefits of Phoenix, all this while in fact you are assosiated and sponsored by the company.
|
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
assosiated and sponsored by the company. You should see the state of my hanger! No sponsors in there!, sheesh Jim. |
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
I would like to remind all of you of the RCU community rules http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_37.../tm.htm#377662
Before you make any post, please read the print above the message box: "Please resist the urge to curse, flame, degrade, insult or embarrass someone in your post. We encourage the free flow of your ideas, but believe that they can be communicated (and received) much more effectively if you keep things civil. If you have to vent, take it offline. We carefully monitor posts and will ban individuals who engage in offensive conduct within the forums." Skirtz, Ade, Tetley all of you are required to clearly state your company affiliation in your signature line as per RCU policy. Your associations are obvious from the posts in the links below http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=559220 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=611894 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=586722 RCU policy states the below: "If you are a manufacturer, vendor, sponsored representative, retailer or the like for an r/c related company or product you must specifically identify yourself and the particular affiliation in your signature. Any member affiliated with a company not identifying themselves as such is at risk of revocation from RCU. This is identified, but not limited to a member who gains anything financially whether in cash, product, discount or the like." "Companies will refrain from posting in threads of their competitors where the subject contains another companies name or product in it." "A shill is defined by but not limited to the act of promoting products for vendors, products or the like, and the act of hiding behind anonymity to abuse normal membership policies and etiquette, and will be at risk of permanent removal from RCU." I hope this is clear |
RE: G3.5 or Phoenix?
Sorry mike didnt realise I had to put it in my signature, most forums dont like you doing that for some reason. I will add mine in a moment. I had stated my my involvement in previous threads on here and thought that was enough guess i should have read the rules!

ORIGINAL: inky00 Surely a simulator is all about physics and G3.5 has the best physics engine of them all. Disclaimer: I've spent a lot of time using Phoenix, but only maybe an hour or two on G3.5, but I feel that the helis definitely feel more real in Phoenix. |
