flight simulator problem
I recently purchased an Esky RC flight simulator. installed it, added the controller hardware, tried to run the program, and it said: "D3drm.dll is not loaded" Now I know this is a certain file needed on the computer in order to run it. I tried downloading it offline but it still said "not loaded" I can't bring up anything, it's just a black screen. If any of you have experienced this problem please inform me in how to solve it. Thanks for any help.

RE: flight simulator problem
1. Go to this website link and download the dll. [link=http://www.driverskit.net/dll/get/494.html]http://www.driverskit.net/dll/get/494.html[/link]
2. Place the file in c:\windows\system32 This is common to Vista since Microsoft has decided to stop including legacy drivers for many older 3D rendering games and cad programs. Let us know how it works out for you. Good luck! |

RE: flight simulator problem
You might want to try changing your screan size to lower the resolution of the display. The program you are using is FMS (I believe) and does not have what anyone would consider great graphics, but should be able to be stretched to full screen and has gotten many started including me.
Just for fun you could also try Clearview using their free 30 day trial software ($40 to purchase) and see if this works better for you in the long run although you would be only able to use four channels as the radio you get with the Esky kit only has four. Otherwise look at spending about $200 for the really good stuff (FSOne, RF 3.5 or Phoenix) if your computer has the video horsepower to run it well. |
