More Warbirds
How bout a ME109, Zero, FW190, P-40, P-39, Hellcat, B-25, ME163 , H*ll how bout a full warbirds add-on disc with 60 size and Giant Scale of each. Also they can make the TopGun and Warbird fields to go with it. Maybe even a field on the english channel and another in Hawaii, and maybe even a strip in Rabaul or an aircraft carrier to fly off of, Yeah, that would be cool. I would be more inclined to buy a Warbirds only disc then one with a mess of planes I never fly. That wouldnt be a bad idea, Warbirds disc, 3-D disc, heli disc, etc.
I can dream cant I? hehe |
Planes for Sim
How about some of these planes..80" or bigger...20-35 Ib weight
Typhoon Hellcat B-25 Mitchell Bomber Hurricane ME-109 FW 190 Just to mention a few... |
Warbirds only
I second the idea of a warbirds-only addon. I don't really care much for a CD full of choppers and sailplanes I'll never fly. Wish they would open up the format to allow users to create and share aircraft, I KNOW the talent is out there, just look at some of the pics posted on this site. Can't tell me modelers don't have time and patience! :)

I would like to be able to hand launch the gliders. That and the ability to put different motor/engine/props on them (like a 12/8 folder using an electric motor)
As it is now, the thing just sits there and crashes without moving. Also, how about a slope soaring option? With Zagi Combat. As for planes I'd like to see...Hmmm, let's see. All the Top Flite Warbirds and the V-tailed version of the Bonanza, . |

I wish Great Planes/Knife Edge, or anybody else, develop a tool for building our own planes & helis. ;)
That would really add value to the G2 (G3?) simulator :D But I got to be realistic. I bet my models they wont do that, no no no no noooo....Who'd dare to eat a hen that lays golden eggs? They want to exploit us model by model with these add-on scam... |

Did vote for the Zagi yet?
Or how about a GeeBee R2? Or a Gee Bee Z? Oh! How about a 'Golden Age of Aviation' Add ons disk? TRP |

While I like the Golden Age of Aviation Disk and the Warbirds Only Disk, I also appreciate the variety of the discs so you get to try a bit of everything. I would think that with a little encryption work and unlocking method that the RealFlight people could come up with a way of selling the planes via download so you could get JUST what you wanted, for like $2-$4 a plane.

BFedRec, I second that! :D Or better yet, they could sell their aircraft design program so we can build (and share ;) ) our own aircrafts... I play a lot of multiplayer games on-line (Quake trilogy, Combat Flight Sims, and others) and all of them can be customized by using additional programs to design new levels, guns, planes, airports, etc. That has been a trend in computer programs/games for some years now. It'd be wonderful if GP does the same. |

Maybe it's just me but the grass fields seem pretty smooth. No mole holes, or divots. I would also like to see the various runways add friction, meaning grass fields might simulate nose-overs differently that an asphalt field.
Warbird disk, float planes and water fields also with accurate water characteristics. Drop tank/bomb capabilities? Something other than GP products |
