can't configure fms on laptop with xp !
 

Hi guys ,
I installed fms on my friend's laptop , works fine with keyboard but I can't get it to fly with the remote . Here's what's happening.

When I open the controls window , I click on " interface irq 32 bit "but the ressource button can'be clicked on to set the lpt1 channel (printer port ) to receive signal from my Futaba controller.

Works fine on my Win98 pc ??? Do I need a special driver for xp ??

The parallel port interfaces do not work with Win XP. Microsoft changed it so that programs can't use the ports directly. You need a different type of interface like a PIC serial port i/f.

Thanks a lot steve , I guess That setting up a dual booth ( win 98 or xp ) could help ?
