RealFlight G2/Controller

Hi,
I'm learning how to hover at the moment. Good thing I got the sim  . Anyway I was wondering if anyone used their radio controller when using the G2 sim program. Or does the controller that comes with it simulate well enough. Also, I have not set up my radio yet (bought a video, waiting). The radio I have is a Hitec Eclipse 7. I've only opened it to look at it, didn't look at the directions yet. Would I have to program it first, and is it fairly easy. Then if so, would I have to reprogram it for flying my real Bell 222 when I'm finished building that? Probably so, I would imagine, but I don't know, that's why I'm asking,,,,,,,, Would it be a good idea to practice with it, using the G2 Sim so I get used to it?
Thanks in advance!
Joe

which way is up?

trans and g2

I fly my g2 both ways. I have a 8103DT. It was a little job getting it setup but love flying with it.

How can you hook up a JR radio with your computer for the sim? The reason I ask is because my realflight transmitter is broke. The rudder wont work on it.

adapter

You have to have a adaptor for real flight or the usb type controller that comes with real flight.

Jmulder

I do not know if RealFlight G2 can work with a joystick. I still have an old version of RealFlight, and it works perfect with my joystick interface. There are a few links on my web to ready-build joystick interfaces, as well as plans for the home constructor.

Maybe someone can let me know if one can use the joystick interface on G2.

I thought somebody manufactured an adapter that I could use to connect my JR radio to my computer.

Real flight has an adapter. It works with jr radios.
