realflight interlink question

I downloaded the trial version from realflights web site and am trying to run it with the interlink controller. I dont have the program for the controller and the trial version doesnt reconize the controller. Is the program avialable online somewhere?
Thanks
Jeff

RE: realflight interlink question

The program that runs the controller is sold with the controller. That is the copyright protection KnifeEdge/RealFlight/GreatPlanes uses.

The retail copies all are coded to request and verify the serial number of the disc and the serial number of the controller that was sold with that disc. They do not provide for other situations.

That design logic protects them from copyright infringement. It has worked well enough that they're still in business and producing new content in a market that has not proven to be very difficult.

RE: realflight interlink question

If you have the G3.X version and the interlink controller the G4.0 Demo will work with the interlink controller. So, yes the interlink controller will work with the Demo but only if you have the complete program (G3.0/3.5 versions) loaded onto your computer.

RE: realflight interlink question

If you bought G3.x and have the controller then contact realflight/knifeedge and if you registered the software they will probably replace the original disks for minimal charge. Worth a shot, at least you will have G3 and the G4 demo to use. G3 is a pretty decent program itself.
