Realflight 3.0 just died!
 

Bought the 3.0 version, first off, disk 1 only installed 75% before locking up. After a 1/2 hour of reloading disks it installed and worked. Well, this has lasted for 2 days, now when I try to open the program it asks for the serial numbers and my nickname then says "error". I will say I'm running this on a new Sony laptop, Vista, 1 gig ram, 130 gig hard drive, unsure of the video card however. I guess I have to uninstall and reinstall this thing now.

Anyone experience this?

Error given after I enter the serial numbers for the software and transmitter is: KEError 95020: Critical file write error.

Sorry if I came across harsh, had to vent.

Thanks, I may have to do that.

Just uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. Same error after I enter the serial numbers. I don't get it, it worked fine for a couple days?

Any idea what's causing this?

Was Vista a listed OS when 3.0 came out? I never had 3.0 so I don't know if it was supported.

Don't blame Realflight for issues with MS VISTA - the real suckie ! Go back to XP. I've been using Realflight for years no real problems. The only issue I can recall is that when my system died I could not reinstall Realflight without calling them. It may not be the best sim out there but it was at the time I bought it. It's a real shame they don't let you UPGRADE to the next version. YOU MUST BUY THE NEXT VERSION ! ! ! ! Now that SUCKS !!!!
