Best simulator software for airplanes
I am getting back into R/C after many years. Looking for a good simulator program to polish my flying skills. I care more about realistic flying behavior than pretty graphics. Which is the best simulator out there?

RE: Best simulator software for airplanes
I am sure that different people will have different opinions what is the best simulator. What you can do is to download a demo from http://rcflightsim.com and try ClearView RC flight simulator - there is free trial time. This simulator povides very realistic plane flight modeling and has many models to choose.
Many people like also how ClearView models the helis so it is good all around simulator in case you will want to try planes and helis as well. |
RE: Best simulator software for airplanes
That would depend on what planes you intend on getting.
If you like the Great Planes kits and ARF's you would want to get Realflight. If you like the Hangar 9 ARFs you would want FSOne. Basically shop for the planes you want, then get their sim so you will have a sim with flight characteristics like the planes you are interested in. |
RE: Best simulator software for airplanes
I just got the PhoenixRC simulator from UK. Seems pretty good.

Hi!
I use Realflight 4.5 and its good, but after I purchased Phoenix I use that for the most. Phoenix is also free for upgrades for existing customers. http://www.phoenix-sim.com/welcome.htm Robert |
