reflex flight sim

Well I've pretty well given up on this sim. I was using a Jr 388 without so much as a hickup. But have since gone to the Jr 9308. Nothing seems to work. I have changed the modulation, servo reversing, gone to the radios factory default setting.Turned off the mixing. Even removed the Freq module. upon the advise of MRC Corp. Nope nothing works. Upon radio calibration I get either a no signal message or controls not centered. So I do know that the interface is working. I have E-mailed the mfg several tmes still no respponce. does anyone have any ideas on this. I'm just on the verge of deep sixing this sucker. I like the reality of this sim as compared to real flight. But right now it's usless. All the plane does is run around in circles, but the controls move with trans input but not in any particular direction, and the are all hard over. Thank you. The trans is on 72 freq. Thank you.

I assume you mean JR 9303????

I'm using a 9303 with Reflex and I'm not having any problems. Make sure you have it set on PPM, not SPCM. What operating system are you using it on, XP or Vista?

yes 9303, sorry about that. No it's on ppm and win xp. Even tried a re install. No joy.

I can remember a few years ago (when I had my JR 8103) I had some problems with Reflex, but it turned out to be video drivers. I updated my video drivers
and no way I could get Reflex to work, come to find out (after getting on the forums) all I had to do was reinstall the old drivers and it worked great, for some reason it wouldn't
work with the new drivers.

I don't think that is your problem though, you say Reflex is seeing the radio? It has to be a setting in the radio or sim, like I said, my 9303 work great. If your
radio is set on PPM it's probably something in the sim, I can't see it being the radio (but you never know).

If you need any screen shots just let me know.

You might use the Channel Display (hit F8) to see what's going on signal-wise. I'd guess it's the plug which isn't firmly in the socket for whatever reason, or there is a signal ground problem (e.g. contact between plug and chassis). Only if you have consistent signals a calibration would make sense.

Another point might be that people say:

The Tx should be turned off. Plug the cable in, the Tx should turn itself on (the the power switch still in off).

You have to turn the transmitter on or unplug the cord to turn the radio off in the sim.
