Real Flight 3.5 and Futaba 9CAP
When connecting the Futaba 9C to the Interlink Elite Tx on the Real Flight G3.5, does the 9C have to be turned on or will the display power up when the adapter cable is connected?
I do not have a 9C anymore, but I have a friend that does and he says the Interlink works fine, but when he connects his 9C to the Interlink, Real Flight will not recognize it. I was hoping I could find someone who is using the 9C and find out how it is supposed to work. My friend is on the road and has not had a chance to try all of the suggestions that I have given him. |
RE: Real Flight 3.5 and Futaba 9CAP
I've used my 9c on mine, and the transmitter has to be turned on. If nothing else, I found it to be a good way to exerceise the battery. Good Luck to your friend

RE: Real Flight 3.5 and Futaba 9CAP
I assume that the 9C is transmitting when the Switch is on, even if the Trainer Cord or Flight Sim Adapter Cable is connected to the Tx. With the Antenna Down, The RF Module could become damaged, from Heat Buildup, unless it was Removed while using the 9C with the Flight Sim. Do you find this to be the case?
