Which tank stopper should be used with E85,
a 'gas' one, or the regular 'glow' one the tank came with?
I was using a syringe to fuel up the tank with E85, and the lil bit of gasoline in the fuel did a number on the black syringe piston. It is simple enough to put the yellow gas-proof lines on (and in) the tank, but what about the stopper? I have a 'gas' one to put on, but I was told the gas one dont like alcohol as much as the glow one dont like gas.

I can live with replacing the lines every year if they stiffen,
I just didnt want to be flying and have a critical fuel supply failure in a few weekends

You could also use a Hayes tank which does not have a rubber expansion stopper but a hard plastic plug with an O ring. It also uses a neoprene clunk line which does not harden as dramatically as tygon.
The tank does work fine with gasolene or glow.

The gas stopper has been working for me. I have been running E85 in my Super Tigres for 3 seasons now. Also have discovered a new Tygon that is softer and lasts longer than the older stuff at McMaster-Carr. I use silicone about 2-3 inches on the muffler as Tygon doesn't take the heat. Tygon from the tank pressure fitting to withing about 2-3 inches from the muffler and the rest of the way to muffler with silicone.
