Default Can you have too much oil ?

I am using Byron's 20% oil, 15% nitro in my O.S. 91 and BGX 3500 engines. The engines are well broken in.

Can using oil percentages of 20% be detrimental to the engines in any way ?

I know they should be protected from low oil %.

Thanks in advance.

To any reasonable degree there's no harm at all using high percentages of oil. The limit comes when the drag of oil begins to generate extra heat as well as a slight drop in revs but this won't happen until you're well over 30% or so. The amount of oil causes an engine to run slightly differently and I've used extra oil in my ST 51 (25% all castor) to change its characteristics.
