Where to buy glow fuel
#1

the closest hobby shop is over 50 miles one way and I always used to direct order my fuel 6 cases at a time, well I just went to reorder some fuel and found out the company no longer will sell direct. I went to some other well know companies and they too will not sell direct. anyone know of a company that makes good fuel that will sell direct?

I have used their 10% and 15% "Sport" fuels and have been very satisfied. I think they only ship to business addresses now. I have a friend who owns an auto shop and he will accept orders for me when necessary.

Waco, have you considered making your own fuel? If your from ohio, chances are you have plenty of local go cart and dirt track race shops around where you can get all the stuff you'd need. Even if you have to drive a good bit,it'd still be worth it if your looking for enough to make 6 cases worth of fuel. Many of us make our own fuel now and it works great! Plus, its alot cheaper.....especially if your paying shipping costs!

I use 5% castor,13% synthetic for a total of 18% total oil. All klotz oils (benol and KL-200). And 10% nitro is all you need for most 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines. It costs close to $3.00 more a gallon to go to 15% nitro and me and the guys who fly our fuel never noticed a difference. And go-cart alcohol (methanol) makes up the rest 72%. Simply as that. You could even just use klotz super techniplate(KL-100) which is like 80-20 oil/castor,and that would be a great mix. I just use seperate oils so I can make different blends for my big super tiger engines.
It costs me about $17.00 a gallon if I dont buy in bulk and have to buy expensive nitro. I can get it made for $13.00 a gallon when I get cheap nitro and buy in bulk. And I'd much rather use homebrew then store bought even if store bought costed the same.
Hope that gives you some info.....

Maxy's fuel....Free shipping when you order 8 cases.
I have only used the DANPS15, it's 15% ariplane fuel with 20% oil.
Works perfect.
