Hi all
I am breaking in a Saito FA100 this weekend. I make my own fuel using Klotz KL-200 oil and was wondering if using 10% instead of 15% nitro will make any noticable difference in how the engine performs?
The engine is mounted in a Hangar-9 P51 Mustang, so I don't really need to squeeze an extra few hunder RPM out of that engine.
So basically, would a fuel mix containing 10% Nitro, 20% Klotz KL-200 oil and 70% Methanol be ok?

Mine (OS & Magnum) run fine on 10% and slightly better on 15%. I'd still be using 10% if I had not gotten a good deal on 3 cases of 15%.

Rap, I have Saitos from the little .30 up through the 2.20 and have run all of them on 5% just to see what would happen, well, not much. All except the little .30 run fine on 5% and even it does if you idle it about 2,500. Your 1.00 will run fine on what ever you mix.
