Default 2380 or mobil jet II

I know they both mix with just about anything and have ran a couple of thanks successfully. Has anyone used either of these oils long term?

Default RE: 2380 or mobil jet II

I ran 5 litres of fuel with 17% Jet Oil II through a Stalker 61 (CL engine) with no problems at all but switched back to castor after the can was used up simply because castor was 1/3 the price. Mobil Jet oil II has slightly better specs than 2380 but that's only of concern for gas turbines with an afterburner, for our purposes either is fine. Nowadays I'd go for the 2380 because the dye used by Mobil discolours tanks and fuel lines and can affect some finishes.

Look at the MSDS before using turbine oil. Some of it has some dreadfull stuff!
