Oil, mixture ratio for gas engines

Hello,

What oil and at what ratio do most of you use for gas engines?

I have a gas helicopter comming next week and am looking for opinions. The one I'm getting has a modified G23 in it and has been running on Amsoil at 50:1.

A well respected gas helicopter guru is running his gas engines at 100:1 ratio. He's also starting to use Coleman fuel/white gas to eliminate the smell from regular gas.

I would appreciate all insite.

Thanks

Oil, mixture ratio for gas engines

Scott,
Amsoil is good stuff. I know of a few guys running the 100:1 oil at a 50:1 ratio. Several guys also use Honda 2-cycle oil, another outstanding oil. I do not however know of anybody running Coleman white fuel. If I am not mistaken, it is 80 octane unleaded gasoline without all the additives used in pump gas. Everybody up here using gas runs pump gas and usually its the premium unleaded.

I have been running beta testing on gasoline 2-strokes with oil that I have produced for other applications. Looks very promising but it won't get to market till I'm throughly satisfied it offers a benefit over what is currently available- that may take some considerable time.

Wish I could offer more help.
