Dose it matter ?????

I am putting a extra tank in my PC9 for the smoke fluid, and iam putting it IN back wards,as thats the only way it will go in,will it matter??? the clunk is OK but will the liquid be forced to the back of the plane and the clunk will not get a feed.
Thanks

Yes it does matter if you wish to use all the fluid in flight.
It does not matter which way the tank is installed - if the stopper is to the rear, simply use a longer piece of brass tubing with a "U" in the end so that the clunk sits a 1/8" from end facing tail of aeroplane i.e. same position as the clunk if the stopper was at he front. If the fuel out hole is in the center, be sure the brass tube is not so long that it would allow the silicon tube to wind around the bung and air vent pipe - clunk must be free to swing. A slant top tank would be easiest.
refer also the "FAQ" section at http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~atong/
