how do I remove Castor varnish stains????

I switched to Omega fuel a couple of years ago from Coolpower to try to reduce the rust and bearing failure. I like the results that I have seen by going over to a Castor based fuel. However that being said, the castor stains that are showing up on the outside of the engine head on engines is getting pretty ugly looking (dark brown stains). What is there if anything that I can use to remove these stains??? I have tried denatured alcohol, mineral spirits, gasoline all to no avail. Any body help me???? Tnx..

If the muffler is black, it may require soaking in a hot antifreeze bath in a potpourri pot

I've used Power Dissolver as well and it works better than organic solvents. Let the parts soak in it a while, maybe 30 minutes. Then rinse it off. I've rubbed it some with one of those green Scotch Brite pads as I'm rinsing and that combo does a nice job. The muffler is the hardest section.

It doesn't look like brand new but there isn't anymore brown stains on it either...I will keep my hobby room stocked with this stuff from now on....

Don't let you wife see it or it will be under the sink?

It also works great as a spot remover in the laundry room

My shop isn't wife safe either. Q tips, green pads, Dixie cups, food handler disposable gloves, tweezers, oven mitts, spoons, Dawn Power Dissolver, tooth picks, paper towels, tooth brushes, and a crock pot. I'm on the lookout for a cheap toaster oven.
